A CRUMLIN man charged with the robbery of a Pentwynmawr takeaway is due to make a plea next month.
Kyran Peplar, 21, of Bryn House, is charged alongside Daniel Burston, 23, of Llanarth Road, Pontllanfraith, with the robbery of £300 from Taste of India, High Street, on April 22.
Peplar is also charged with possession of an imitation firearm.
Judge Neil Bidder QC set a date of June 6 for a preliminary hearing and June 26 for a plea and case management hearing for Peplar. Burston’s preliminary and plea date hearing is yet to be confirmed.
Both defendants are remanded in custody.
