THEY'RE just one song away from the chance of performing for the Queen and winning one of television's biggest talent shows.

Only Boys Aloud have made it through to the final of Britain's Got Talent after impressing the judges with their Welsh hymns.

The boys even bought Simon Cowell to his feet when they performed Calon Lân on the show in March and have received messages of support this week from around the world including Canada and Holland.

The 135 boys, aged between 14 and 19, left Newport's Riverfront Theatre earlier this morning by coach to travel down to London for tomorrow night's live show.

Baritone Luke Depace, 18, from Blackwood, joined the Ebbw Vale Only Boys Aloud choir two years ago.

He said: "What's brilliant is that we're all from really different backgrounds, but when we come together, we bring out the best in each other. We all really enjoy what we do. We inspire each other. "I'm really proud we've made it through to the final of Britain's Got Talent, it would be awesome to win, but just being part of Only Boys Aloud is enough for me."

Kai Lowe, 18, sings in the Cwmbran branch of the choir. He said: "The competition in the final is huge, but if we perform to our best, we have as good a chance as anyone. It would be great to win it for Wales."

Britain's Got Talent is on ITV1 at 7.30pm.
