The bus on the M4
A BUS was badly damaged by fire as it drove down the M4 through Newport.
A bus caught fire on the westbound carriageway between junctions 26 and 27 just before 5.30pm yesterday.
The rear of the bus was badly damaged by fire and fire crews from Malpas and Duffryn were called to the scene.
A spokesman for the South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said there were no injuries and the fire was accidental.
