BARRAGE CAMPAIGN: Peter Hain MP
PETER Hain has resigned his post as Shadow Welsh Secretary to campaign to make the Severn Barrage a reality, reports say.
Mr Hain, MP for the constituency of Neath, said he couldn't campaign for the barrage while on the Labour front benches.
He said the Barrage could generate five per cent of Britain's electricity when nuclear power in Britain is in doubt.
