SOUTH Wales Fire and Rescue Service have said they can now begin the investigation into the cause of the fire at Glandwr Industrial Estate, in Llanhilleth.
The site was judged to be too unsafe for investigators to enter, however that decision has now been reviewed.
Residents, though, have been advised by Blaenau Gwent council to “minimise the time they spend outdoors” and keep their doors and windows shut.
Environment Agency Wales officers confirmed that there has been no environmental impact on the River Ebbw, and the excess water from tackling the blaze is safely contained on site.
