A PONTYPOOL man pleaded guilty at Abergavenny Magistrates’ Court to threatening behaviour in a public place after an incident last Boxing Day.
Kyron Jones, 25, of Avalon Court, Tranch, Pontypool, admitted to behaving threateningly towards Daniel Davies in Pontypool town centre.
The court heard Jones, Mr Davies and others were involved in an argument.
Prosecutor Lisa James told magistrates that Torfaen CCTV operators called police to the scene, finding Jones with a cut to his head.
But the CCTV showed Jones has several opportunities to leave the incident but returned.
Steven Mock, for Jones, said there was a “verbal altercation” between Jones and Mr Davies.
Chairman of the bench The Rev Michael Phillips asked for reports from the probation service and adjourned the matter to Caerphilly Magistrates’ Court next month.
