IT WAS second time lucky for Hospice of the Valleys fundraisers as they took to the banks of Bryn Bach Park lake, Tredegar, for an annual fun run.
Atrocious weather forced the cancellation of the five-kilometre Lap the Lake event at the end of April, but the contrast on the rearranged date could not have been greater.
Around 150 people took part, including a team of staff and nurses from Holding’s Dentists in Ebbw Vale. They were presented with a trophy to mark ten years’ participation in the event, during which time they have raised more than £30,000 for the Hospice of the Valleys.
