THE Royal Mail has missed its target for the amount of first-class post that reached its destination by the next working day for addresses with NP postcodes in 2011/12.
The company said that between April 2011 and March 2012 91.3 per cent of first-class post reached its destination on time – below the national target of 93 per cent and the area’s minimum standard of 91.5 per cent.
However, between January and March 2012 the company delivered 92.3 per cent of mail on time – beating its minimum standard.
