PONTNEWYDD Male Choir will be kicking off June with a concert at New Inn Nursing Home to entertain residents and guests at the Jubilee garden party on June 5.
The choir’s last engagement in May was a guest appearance with Nidus Children’s Choir at St Hilda’s Church in Griffithstown.
After the jubilee celebrations the choir will be moving on to Willow- Bank House, Bettws, on June 12 to perform for residents.
Then on June 23 they will be performing at a grand charity concert in aid of Parkinson’s UK at St Emmanuel Church in Plymouth, just one of the many charity concerts the choir undertakes throughout the year.
The choir rehearses at Mount Pleasant Hall, Pontnewydd, on Tuesdays and Fridays from 7.30pm to 9.15pm. New members welcome.
