AROUND 200 pupils helped to keep the environment tidy by taking part in a litter pick.
Each Ty-Sign Primary School pupil worked for half an hour picking up litter from around the school grounds.
Approximately 12 bags of rubbish were collected as part of the school’s innovation week.
The aim of the week was to raise awareness of the environment with pupils as well as engaging their parents in the activities.
The BeWEHL Initiative, in partnership with Keep Wales Tidy and The Environment Agency, led the week.
Member of the BeWEHL Initiative, Emma Gearing, said: “The pupils were all very excited to be taking part and they worked extremely hard to pick up the litter.”
