NEW magistrates are needed in Gwent. A series of open events to encourage applications and explain the process will be held across the county throughout June and July.
An open evening will be held in Abergavenny on June 21, Newport on June 27, Caerphilly on July 9 and Cwmbran on July 17.
Each event starts at 6.30pm and will give you the opportunity to look around the courthouse and speak to magistrates.
To apply, you need to be 18 to 65 and demonstrate good character, social awareness, sound temperament, commitment and reliability.
