THE CLASSIC British rock band Martin Turner's Wishbone Ash is among the final acts to be announced for this year's Monmouth Festival.
Local band The Ronaldo's, opera singer William Mackie and 60s revivalists New Amen Corner also join the line-up which includes The Bandits, Jiveaholics and Jon Amor Blues Group.
This year there is an emphasis on putting home-grown talent on the main stages.
The festival, now in its thirtieth year, is one of the largest free music festivals in Europe. and is held in venues around the town, including Blestium Street, Wyastone Leys Concert Hall and St Mary's Church.
The carnival, held on August 19, is part of a nine-day festival in the town and features a procession of floats, walking entrants and street entertainment.
