WELSH FAVOURITE: Brian Hibbard
EBBW VALE-born Welsh actor and singer Brian Hibbard has died, it was revealed today.
The 65-year-old died at the weekend his agent said.
He became famous as the singer with the eighties band Flying Pickets and then went on to feature in film and TV, with roles in Coronation Street, Twin Town, Pam Fi Duw and Pobol y Cwm.
In recent years he was a regular star of the Newport panto at the Riverfront Theatre.
