YOUNGSTERS from the Combined North Monmouthshire Junior Orchestra were among the musicians who ensured the show went on at the Raglan Music Festival.
The event, in its eighth year, suffered a blow late last month when organisers cancelled planned performances by 1980s pop legends Tony Hadley and Go West due to poor ticket sales.
But despite the loss of two headlining acts, alternative musical entertainment was arranged for Saturday and yesterday evening.
The festival has established itself as a popular weekend event since 2005, with the community centre, two churches, three pubs and the village primary school – where this orchestra performed – hosting concerts.
