AN USK-based artist is preparing to hold an art exhibition in a former courthouse and law library.

Renowned artist, Claudine Brown has held several exhibitions of her paintings over the years but said her latest at Sessions House, Maryport Street is the most unusual venue.

"I’m incredibly excited to have the opportunity to exhibit my collection of around 50 paintings in such a beautiful and historical building."

Her collection includes paintings inspired by Tuscany, Italy and Provence in France.

The exhibition runs between 10am and 4pm at Sessions House from June 22 to 24.
