AROUND 75 toddlers enjoyed a teddy bear’s picnic at Usk Castle.
The event, held as part of the annual Usk Festival, saw the children, aged between one and five years-old take part in a teddy bear hunt around the grounds of the castle on Tuesday.
The youngsters, who came from the reception class at Usk Primary School, Sunflowers Nursery and Usk Nursery, brought their teddies along and had the chance to send them on a tandem parachute jump with an expert teddy bear off the castle’s North Tower.
All the children, along with parents and grandparents also enjoyed a picnic and many other activities.
Penny Reeves, Of Usk Castle Friends, who served tea and coffee at the event, said: "The children absolutely adored it. It was wonderful."
