CRASH: The incident on the M4 last night which closed the motorway, causing tailbacks
TWO lanes on the M4 in Newport were closed last night, causing large tailbacks.
The collision, involving a car and a horse box, happened at around 5pm on the M4 eastbound at junction 24, the Coldra.
Two lanes were closed, causing queuing traffic back to junction 26, Malpas Road.
Gwent Police said the lanes reopened at around 6pm.
