THE M50 has been closed in both directions after today's heavy rain.
Currently the motorway is closed between Strensham services on the M5 and junction two on the M50 westbound and from junction two to junction one on the eastbound carriageway.
The Highways Agency said the road, which closed just after 2pm, is unlikely to be open before 6pm and advised drivers to check traffic updates and take care on the roads.
Traffic was diverted from around 2pm and diversions are in place.
