An African choir, who have performed for the Queen, visited a Gwent school.
The Watoto choir from Uganda, are a 22-strong children’s choir, part of a charity set up 18 years ago to care for the thousands of children orphaned in the country.
The choir act as ambassadors for the charity, raising awareness worldwide. They performed for the Queen at Windsor castle as part of the diamond jubilee celebrations but were at Caerleon Endowed Juniors this week to wow the 250 pupils and staff with traditional singing and dance, before taking a tour of the school and joining the pupils for lunch.
