ORGANISERS have cancelled this year’s Chepstow Show due to the "current unpredictable weather".
The show, scheduled for, August 11, attracted 6,500 people last year. Secretary, Sarah Davies, said: "The rain has caused huge issues with regard to mowing the grass on the site and removal of it.
"We have considered other venues but everyone is in the same position. Also, financial implications to the society are a priority so we look forward to a sunny 2013 show."
The annual event, now held on Broadwell Farm, near Crick, has been running since the 1920s.
