TRIBUTES have been paid to a 45-year-old motorcyclist from Crumlin who was killed in a crash on Saturday.

The man, named locally as Alan Woodland, was riding a blue Honda motorbike when the incident happened on the A467 Trinant Hill, near Llanhilleth, at around 5.45am.

It is not known what caused the accident and no other vehicles were involved.
