WALES’ newest school hosted an exhibition of A-level students’ photography and art work last week.
The new £38 million Llanwern High School in Ringland, Newport, showed off around 100 stunning pieces of students’ work as part of the school’s open day.
The A2 art and photography students came back with their parents to celebrate their achievements at the exhibition.
The school’s business manager, Andy Knight, said he hoped it would be the first of many exhibitions to come in the new art studio but in the future students would be the ones running it to give them some hands-on experience.
