POLICE are hunting a child abuser from Blackwood whom they say has broken the terms of his licence after being released from prison.
Ross Kalies, 56, was released from prison in February while serving a three and a half year prison sentence for sexual offences against children.
Kalies was convicted in January 2009 and October 2009 at Cardiff crown court, police said today.
He is known to have previously spent time in Cardiff, Brecon, Tenby or Caerphilly county, and may be sleeping rough, officers say.
He is described as white, 5ft 7ins tall, of slight build, a scruffy appearance, with greying, dark brown, wavy shoulder-length hair, a greying ginger beard, long sideburns, blue eyes and yellow teeth, and has a Welsh accent.
Anyone who sees him is asked to call Gwent Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
