UP to 2,500 people are expected to attend the Croissant Neuf Summer Party in Usk this weekend.

Mercury Music Prize nominee folk singer Seth Lakeman, American singer/songwriter Willy Mason, Clannad singer Maire Brennan and six-piece band Molotov Jukebox are among the 40 acts to perform at the threeday festival, which starts on Friday.

British-born Seth Lakeman is best known for his first solo album The Punch Bowl, released in 2002.

Other artists due to perform include The Folk, Gabby Young and Other Animals.

Last year, 3,000 people from all over the country enjoyed live music at the award-winning festival, which saw performances from Ed Sheeran and 80s ska band The Beat.The festival is famed for its family and eco-friendly credentials.

The secret site in Monmouthshire, revealed to festival- goers when they buy a ticket, is entirely solar-powered.

Other attractions include circus performers and arts and crafts workshops.
