TRAIN passengers travelling through Newport this afternoon face delays of up to 15 minutes after a vehicle hit a railway bridge.
The incident happened at East Usk Road railway bridge around midday and the track was closed for around 30 minutes until safety checks were carried out.
The vehicle has now been cleared away but delays are expected to last until around 1.30pm.
