A 15-year-old Newport boy was this afternoon banned from driving for two months after admitting driving without a licence and having no insurance.
The teenager, who cannot be named, pleaded guilty to taking his parents' car. They reported it missing to police who stopped and arrested the boy in Monmouthshire.
As well as the ban he was also made the subject of a three month referral order.
Magistrates said the ban had to be made, despite the fact the boy was too young to drive.
