Cwmbran shopping centre wins green award

CWMBRAN Shopping has been formally recognised as one of the most environmentally friendly organisations in the UK.
The town centre has won a Green Apple Environment Award as part of a national campaign to find Britain’s greenest companies, councils and communities.
It was competing against more than 500 other nominations and centre manager Gerry Hutchings will pick up the award at a prestigious presentation ceremony in the House of Commons on November 12.
