EIGHT officers and staff from Gwent Police are taking calls about missing five-year-old April Jones, who disappeared yesterday evening.

The appropriately trained staff will remain in Gwent but have been assigned take phone calls to the dedicated Dyfed-Powys Police hotline set up to help find April, who police believe was abducted from the Bryn-y-gog estate in Machynlleth, Powys, at around 7.30pm on Monday evening.

It is believed she got into a light-coloured van.
