HALLOWE’EN is coming and we’re all looking forward to a bit of a frightfest.

To get the city’s youngsters in the mood, Newport NOW is organising a bit of a treat, (no tricks!) with a Hallowe’en film show in the atmospheric Newport Market, which will turn into a haunted house on the high street for one night only.

The show is on Saturday, October 29, it begins at 4pm and will be over by 7pm. Tickets are £4 and available from The Newsagent; www.newportlive.co.uk; and Riverfront Arts Centre.

It will be a fun, safe environment for the whole family to enjoy – and we want you to dress up in your favourite Hallowe’en costume to add to that eerie atmosphere.

There’s even a Where are The Witches? Hallowe’en Trail around High St and the Market during the day where prizes are available for youngsters who find all 10 hidden Witches – so get there in plenty of time.

All we need to know now is what film you want to see?

The South Wales Argus has teamed up with Newport NOW to give your family the choice of film you would prefer to see.

The choice of spooky spectaculars is: 1. Frankenweenie From creative genius Tim Burton, Frankenweenie is a heart-warming tale about a young boy and his beloved dog. Frankenweenie is a fun, imaginative story full of incredible characters, monstrous experiments and, above all, friendship.

2. Hotel Transylvania Dracula’s five-stake resort, Hotel Transylvania, is where monsters and their families can live it up and no humans are allowed. One special weekend whilst celebrating his daughter Mavis’ 118th birthday Dracula has to cater for all of his best friends, but the party really starts when one ordinary guy stumbles into the hotel and changes everything!

3. The Witches The Witches is a 1990 British-American film based on the children’s novel of the same title by Roald Dahl. The Witches tells the story of a brave young boy and his Norwegian grandmother as they battle against England’s child-hating witches. It continues to feature in lists dedicated to the scariest children’s books more than 30 years after it was first published, especially around Halloween.

Simply email info@thinkorchard.com with your preferred choice by October 21, and book your tickets as soon as possible to get a great seat.

Newport NOW is the business body charged with supporting and promoting the city centre.
