The Original Factory Shop, one of the UK’s fastest-growing retail businesses, has invested £250,000 in a new store in Newport, which is located inside the Tesco Extra Newport Spytty on Newport Retail Park.
The store, which is the first of its kind for The Original Factory Shop, is the 21st Original Factory Shop in Wales and the 190th in the UK and has created 20 jobs.
Tesco store manager Steve Pugh said “We are extremely excited to have the Original Factory Shop within our store. This investment is beneficial to the local community with all 20 new jobs going to local people. My team are looking forward to working alongside the Original Factory Shop team giving customers an all-inclusive shopping experience.”
The store was officially launched by the Mayor of Newport, Councillor Cliff Suller.The store also donated £1,000 to the Mayor’s chosen charitable fund, Macmillan Cancer Support.
