Newport-based accountancy and tax expert Kilsby Williams has taken on two new recruits to strengthen its thriving business services team.
Michelle Jenkins joins the company as business services manager with over a decade’s experience, while Sion Waterworth is the company’s newest business services assistant.
In her new role, Michelle will look after a portfolio of clients, which will include statutory audit work and preparing statutory accounts.
Michelle said: “This opportunity with Kilsby Williams came at the perfect time for me as I was keen to progress my career with a larger, ambitious firm. I am looking forward to working with the experienced team to help broaden my technical knowledge and ability.”
Sion joins the firm from Cardiff University where he has recently completed a degree in Accounting and Finance. In his new role, Sion will work on client audits and account preparation.
Sion said: “I believe that this will be a perfect fit for me as I begin my career in accountancy. Many of the team have Big Four backgrounds which means that I will be guided by experienced practitioners while also benefiting from a smaller practice environment.”
Ataf Salim, partner at Kilsby Williams, which is based at Celtic Springs Business Park, said: “We are always on the lookout for bright new talent and with Michelle and Sion, I believe we have two highly capable, ambitious individuals who will be assets to our business services team as we continue to grow.”
