If you had to be stuck in a lift with someone, who would it be and why?

I don’t like the idea of being stuck in a lift full stop. But I think it would be Christopher Ecclestone, he’s a really good actor especially his performance in the film Jude.

What is your biggest fear?

I don’t have a very good sense of direction, so I suppose being lost.

Do you have any superstitions?

Not any more. I used to when I was small and everybody around me was, I used to follow the crowd, but not any more.

If you could have one song on your iPod, what would it be and why?

Damien Rice: Blower’s Daughter. I really like the way he sings it and I think he sings it with meaning and heart. A lot of songs now are really poppy and the people don’t seem like they mean it.

What’s the most expensive thing you’ve bought not including your property?

My car. It’s not flash, it’s a little Hyundai, but it was the first car I have ever bought which was new. That and my student loan.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve been given?

Don’t doubt yourself, believe in yourself.

What’s your indulgence?

Cookbooks. I am terrible for buying them. When I used to get paid I would always treat myself to a cookbook especially veggie ones.

What item could you not live without?

I am not a materialistic person. I don’t even carry much in my handbag.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be and why?

I would like to be taller. I am quite petite and that is the only thing. I am quite content generally.

Where are you next going on holiday?

Nowhere. I have nothing planned. I definitely deserve a holiday, it would be somewhere in the UK. Anywhere as long as I get a holiday.

I haven’t travelled much overseas but I would like to travel around France.
