FIVE MINUTES WITH: Gareth 'Alfie' Thomas
IF YOU had to be stuck in a lift with someone, who would it be and why?
Elvis Presley, pictured. I think he’d have an interesting story and if he didn’t he could just sing.
What is your biggest fear?
Probably confined spaces.
Do you have any superstitions?
No. Superstitions are a bad thing. I realised that when I played rugby.
If you could have only one song on your iPod, what would it be and why?
Don’t Stop Me Now by Queen. I live my life by that, it’s a life anthem.
What’s the most expensive thing you’ve bought, not including your property?
My car.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
It’s not where you’re going that’s important, it’s where you come from.
What’s your indulgence?
McCoy’s cheese and onion crisps.
What item could you not live without?
My iPhone.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be and why?
Right now, I wouldn’t change naything.
Where are you next going on holiday?
I’m hopefully going on a cruise around the Caribbean.
