EXHIBITION: Bethesda Baptist Church is celebrating its 275 year anniversary with events throughout the year.
The next event is an Historical Exhibition - ‘A Timeless Place’ at the church from March 21 to March 25. The exhibition charts the history/development of Rogerstone and the church, from the establishing of Bethesda on the present site in1742 (33 years before the War of American Independence), to the present day. The exhibition has special displays that reflect local industry including Alcan, a look at Victorian Rogerstone, the canal and the fourteen locks, education and the community life, past and present, of Rogerstone, and naturally lots of local people and events of yesteryear involving Bethesda and the community.
Come as individuals or as a group - just walk in and enjoy the experience. There is no admission charge and refreshments will be available. The exhibition will be open as follows: Tuesday March 21 to Friday March 24 from 10am to noon and 2pm to 8pm. On Saturday March 25 from 10am to noon and 2pm to 4pm.
