‘ONE BEAT’ SUCCESS: The ‘One Beat’ roadshow saw more than 30 voluntary organisations join together for a special event for the residents of Caerphilly.
On Saturday March 18, Caerphilly Library played host to a number of stallholders including Age Cymru Gwent, Care and Repair Caerphilly, Disability Can Do, Family Information Service, Alzheimer’s, Caerphilly Local History Society, VanGuard Centre, GAVO and more.
The event saw more than 70 residents drop in to discuss the wide-ranging support and services offered by the voluntary sector organisations within the county borough.
One Beat is a partnership between Caerphilly Council and Gwent Association of Voluntary Organisations (GAVO).
Caerphilly was the first roadshow of 2017 with the second due to take place in Newbridge in October.
