CLUB: ECHO Friendship Club are temporarily not accepting new members.
The Salvation Army (where we hire the hall) have reminded us that the hall cannot accommodate more than 40 people due to health and safety reasons and we have more than that on our membership list.
Meanwhile the EFC Committee are investigating the possibility of moving to another venue with a larger hall. The club is the victim of its own success because membership has steadily been growing which is good in one way because we have been reaching more and more senior citizens who are feeling lonely and isolated.
A further announcement will be made when decisions have been made. (Helen Paterson, Chairperson).
