GROUP: Risca Male Voice Choir
EVENT: Risca Male Choir took part in the Service of Thanksgiving to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of 104th Regiment Royal Artillery and to mark its re-subordination to 1st Artillery Brigade at St Woolos Cathedral, Newport, on April 1.
The choir under the directorship of Geraint Davies provided choral support to the service and the Royal Artillery Band under Captain N Skipper CAMUS, Regimental Director of Music.
The choir's performance of 'Va Pensiero' - Verdi, along with a rousing rendition of 'Battle Hymn of the Republic' was enjoyed and much appreciated by the members of the gathered congregation.
