EVENT: Congratulations to Cwmbran Salvation Army for a superb spring fair, held on Saturday May 13. May which raised much needed funds for the work of the Salvation Army.
There were many stalls offering a wide variety of home made and recycled products, including craftwork, garden plants, books, jigsaws, bric-a-brac, greeting cards and the speciality of the house: luscious home-made cakes.
Gil and I arrived early enough to stock up on fruit crumbles for the freezer; although I must confess the tray of cakes we bought didn’t last long that weekend!
We also enjoyed the opportunity to chat over a cuppa and light refreshments in the café area, where we met many friends, old and new.
