REPORTS of a large meteor travelling across the night sky were recorded in South and Mid Wales last night, as well as across England into Cornwall, Hampshire and Lancashire.
Witnesses reported seeing a flash of white, blue and green as it shot through the sky at around 9.45pm.
Experts believe the bright light in the sky may have been debris from the famous Halley's Comet burning up, known as the Eta Aquarids.
