Jimmy Adams carried his bat for 138 as Hampshire were finally bowled out for 274 on the penultimate day of their LV County Championship match against Gloucestershire at Bristol.
Adams has now scored 377 Championship runs at 125.7 - putting him top of the second division's run charts.
Hampshire's first innings ended when James Tomlinson (1) edged his 50th ball to third slip in the third over of the third day.
