Fire crews cut someone free from the wreckage of a crash on the A467 at Llanhilleth

FIRE crews from Abertillery and Ebbw Vale used cutting equipment to rescue the occupant of car that crashed on the A467 at Llanhilleth at around 12.30pm today.

Only one vehicle was involved in the incident.

The person rescued was taken to hospital by ambulance, but no details are available on their condition at present.
