How long does this research take to compile? I could tell you in a couple of sentences; the traffic is busy in the morning. It is busier when an army of idiots are flagging cars down every 100 yards to ask dumb questions.

50 minutes to get into work this morning. I wonder if the WAG will be reimbursing companies for the loss of earnings? This must be costing small businesses a fortune.

Stopping traffic for a survey on Malpas in the rush hour seems to me to be the most idiotic data gathering exercise imaginable.
What fool thought it was a good idea, and how on earth does anyone get the authority to cause so much trouble for law abiding citizens?

Don't know what the fuss is all about. I live in Malpas, I joined the traffic at 8.45am and it took me 20 seconds to go through the Cencus area at 8.50am.

Traffic was backed up to the old County Hall when I came down about 8.55am. Both of us late for work after taking 25 minutes to get down Malpas.

The idiots at the bottom of Malpas were taking plenty of abuse as I went past.

I queued from Llanyravon roundabout this morning right down to just short of Sainsbury. 20 minutes at least. I was pulled over and informed they were carrying out a survey - like I didn't know. Yes, I know grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I think the guy could tell by my attitude I wasn't impressed and said I didn't have to take part, to which I said Great, because you've already made me late for work. On leaving, I heard the one surveyor say to the guy who was dealing with me, that's another one we've (for want of another word .. annoyed). Are they surprised? The irony of holding up traffic that is already a nightmare to ask us our opinion on traffic flow. My god. And it's not once you get caught in it. Two or three times in the last few weeks I've had to either sit through it or try to dodge it. Makes my blood boil.

Doesnt it make more sense to send out letters via DVLA with SE Envelope. What about using the internet to get drivers to log their travel plans - wow technology! Why is this information needed so much?

For business' staff getting in 10mins late can have a massive effect on everything. Then customers complain that deliveries are late. Just a joke!
