THE occupants of the vehicle that crashed were given a roadside check-up but no one was taken to hospital, a Welsh Ambulance Service spokeswoman said.

All lanes are now open and traffic is easing.

3.14pm

A DRIVER has been tended by medics after a crash on the M4 this afternoon.

One lane has been closed on the westbound carriageway following the collision involving one vehicle at around 2.30pm between junctions 26 and 27.

Traffic has built on the M4 and congestion stretched back to junction 25.

A South Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said the driver was not trapped and was tended by paramedics.
