AN ABERGAVENNY man has been handed a Criminal Behaviour Order (CRIMBO) for his anti-social behaviour.

Craig Osbourne, 42, was handed the three year order after his drunk and harassing behaviour in Abergavenny Town Centre.

The order, which replaces the old Criminal Anti-Social Behaviour Order (CRASBO), has the conditions that Osbourne can not drink alcohol in any public place in Abergavenny, can not act or incite others in an anti-social manner which is likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress, can not enter the grounds or building of the Old Station surgery, Abergavenny and can not enter either of the licensed premises - Hen and Chicks and The Bailey.

He must also not enter Abergavenny Town Centre (Frogmore Street, Cibi Walk, Baker Street, Tudor Street, Park Road, Priory Lane, grounds of the old cattle Market, High Street, Nevill Street, Lion Street, Whitehorse Lane, Queen Street, King Street, Monk Street, Cross Street, Market Street, Flannel Street, St Johns Street, Lewis Lane, Lower Castle Street, Castle Street and Radstock Court) during the hours of 12pm and 9am.

The orders give authorities another tool to deal with individuals who may behave in an anti-social way or be engaged in criminal activity.

PC Shaun Conway, of Abergavenny Station, said: “We are committed to making Abergavenny a safer place and enforcing this order is a part of that. Local residents have had to suffer Osbourne’s bad behaviour and we are pleased that this CRIMBO has been given to give them some relief.

“Anyone who sees Craig Osbourne breaching this order in any way can contact us straight away on 101 or in an emergency by dialling 999. Thanks to members of the public for their support.”
