NEWPORT Gwent Dragons stars helped Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK) celebrate the opening of its new restaurant at Friars Walk by giving away 150 free burgers.
Winger Hallam Amos, centre Jack Dixon, fly-half Dorian Jones, back row James Benjamin, scrum-half Luc Jones, flanker Ollie Griffiths, lock Scott Andrews, prop Luke Garrett and hooker Elliot Dee made the short journey from Rodney Parade to cook up a storm in the kitchen.
The squad were giving away 150 free cheeseburgers to lucky customers, who queued outside the Newport restaurant to meet the Dragons' next generation and enjoy a mouth-watering treat at the same time.
GBK also used the occasion to launch its Caerphilly Dragon burger, the winning entry of the 2015 GBK in-house chef competition.
It is a 6oz burger topped with Caerphilly cheese, Dragon Bait sauce, Cajun Relish, crispy bacon, leeks, truffle cheese sauce and jalapenos.
