A DISPERSAL order will be in place in Bettws this weekend to tackle anti-social behaviour.
Police have issued the order which will be live between the hours of 6pm and 1am on both Friday, February 12 and Saturday, February 13.
The order will apply to Bettws Close, Civil Service Football Ground, including the containers on site, Shannon Close and garages, Monnow Way, Clos Enning and the leisure centre.
The order provides police officers and community support officers with the powers to direct anyone to leave this specified area if they are involved in anti-social behaviour or if officers think their behaviour may lead to anti-social behaviour. If they return to that area after being moved on, they face being arrested.
