LOTS of black smoke can be seen billowing across Caerphilly county borough this morning as firefighters tackled a fire in Penallta Industrial Estate.
Firefighters from South Wales Fire and Rescue have been attempting to put out the blaze since after receiving a call at 9.19am today.
Two fire engines and a rescue tender from Aberbargoed and Merthyr initially attended the scene and requested three more fire engines and two water bowsers.
The blaze was also tackled by crews from Pontypridd, Caerphilly and Treharris.
The fire has now been extinguished and one building is severely damaged by the fire.
A quantity of tyres and vehicles have also been destroyed.
