Stretch of Heads of the Valleys closes for upgrade work
UPDATE: 3.30pm
The road closure has been postponed due to predicted bad waether over the weekend.
A STRETCH of the Heads of the Valleys road connecting Brynmawr and Gilwern will be closed in both directions this weekend
The work is part of the latest phase of the A465 £800million upgrade.
The road will close at 8.30pm tonight and wll re-open on Monday at 6am.
All drivers will be diverted on the A467 and A4042, via Pontypool.
