VOLUNTARY groups in Monmouth can apply for grants worth up to £750 to set up new projects or help existing ones.
Grants are available from the community affairs committee of Monmouth town council.
The deadline is January 29, 2010, and the grants would form up to 75 percent of a project, meaning groups will have to contribute as well.
The grants are for work, such as helping towards an event, helping with small scale repairs and equipment, as opposed to running costs.
