GROSMONT AND DISTRICT GARDENING CLUB: Members spent the summer visiting gardens of interest and, despite the very wet weather, they had two reasonably dry evenings.
The tour started in Brenda Jones’ garden at Mayhill on an overcast evening, but everyone enjoyed the visit.
Among the Grosmont gardens visited were Sue Inken’s, Lynn Hounsome’s and Sue Gill’s, whose garden design talents are well recognised.
The evening ended with tea and cakes in Grosmont Town Hall.
The August meeting was a social evening, with a bring-a-plate supper in Pat Matthews’ garden at St Maughans.
